I am twenty eight years old; I was working a variety of jobs to make a living, until the war forced me to leave my country. I have been separated from my wife and the place I call home for the past five years. Although I have traveled through many countries, the hardest of these countries was Bulgaria. While crossing the border, I was captured and put in jail for a year;however, I find myself lucky because it could have been a much longer sentence. I am hopeful that here, in France, I will be safe to start a new life and send for my wife to make France a place to call home.
